Muriel Walls

Muriel is a pioneer of collaborative practice in Ireland. In this model of dispute resolution the lawyers are trained in the collaborative process and specifically commit in writing not to represent their client in contested litigation. This ensures the focus is on trying to reach workable solutions and a fair agreement.

Muriel is also a family mediator. As Mediator she works with the couple together as a neutral and impartial facilitator to help their discussions to find compromise on the issues that present.

Muriel has been a Fellow of the International Academy of Family Lawyers (IAFL) for over 20 years and has considerable experience in dealing with cross-border and international cases and the recognition in Ireland of foreign marriages and foreign divorces.
